The interactions are interesting as humans exchange ideas, narratives, observations or even insightful questions. When one has difficulty introducing substance into conversations, he or she tends to use filler phrases, which allow the conversation to continue without introducing any meaning to it. These are not phrases that are harmful in themselves but with repetition, they can render interactions decadent or dead. Curiosity, detail or personal insight often characterize interesting communication and empty phrases often tend to be depthless. To observe such patterns does not mean to judge other people but to know what contributes to more vibrant and meaningful dialogue.
It is what it is

This is a term that terminates dialogue and not augments it. It silences debate and indicates a lack of emotion, rather than providing insight and point of view. Although it is used in times of accepting reality, when it is used frequently, it indicates that one is unwilling to think about it or delve into the depth of the issue and thus interactions are one dimensional and unfulfilled.
Whatever

Whatever puts the lid on participation. It shows lack of interest and does not add opinions or tastes. Although this might sound relaxed, when it is overdone, it might leave the speaker to come out as unemotional or not keen to put effort in the talk, a situation that tends to demoralize others to keep the conversation going ardently.
Same here

Connection can be developed through agreement, yet explanation is lost when conversation becomes one-sided. Repeating without detailing things and ideas, makes an idea not develop. It is interesting to explain the rationale behind your connection, and even a concise agreement can turn the conversation into a monotony.
I guess

Such an indecisive statement is an indication of uncertainty without clarification. It tends to take the place of a real opinion or a reply and leave the conversation incomplete. Although it is okay to be unsure, clearer expression of ideas or posing questions keeps the conversation going and when one constantly responds vaguely, then the communication is lowered.
You know?

Inviting connection, it is used sometimes. Worn out, it turns out to be filler between flows. Excessive use may be an indication of the inability to articulate thoughts. Substituting it with more elaborate explanations makes the communication approach less insecure and important.
That’s just how it is

Just like other close-up lines, this kills curiosity. It proposes not to be interested in how and why. Dialogues develop as a result of questioning and introspection and therefore, using set phrases can cultivate discussions as being restrictive and one-sided.
Cool

A brief positive reply is effective, but excess repetition without expounding halts communication. To maintain the flow, a follow-up question or comment is added. Without it, discussions are short lived.
Nothing much

This solution does not allow the connection when applied in many cases. Telling little about the experience or thoughts is open to discussion. Going to a barebare mode of reaction can isolate and be dull.
